Upon arrival in Chongqing, your guide will greet and welcome you at in the airport or train station. On the way to the city area, your guide will introduce this mountain city to you. First you will visit the Huguang Guild House, where you can savor and appreciate the fading carvings and arts of bygone days. Today, these stages are still alive with plays and dramas, replaying script of old for modern audiences. After that, you will be escorted to the local Farmers Market. Products in Farmers' market are renowned for being locally-grown and very fresh. You can practice the art of bargaining. You will have a hotpot for lunch in a special designated restaurant. In the afternoon, your tour continues to the Shibati (Nineteen Steps), which is an interesting old street. It connects the old rustic city with the upper prosperous city. The street is lined with ancient Chinese architectural buildings and completely different from other parts of this city. After the tour, your guide will accompany you to Chaotianmen Dock, where you will get onboard the Yangtze cruise ship.
