Where does the Yangtze Cruise begin?
The Yangtze River is 6,300 km long and flows from Qinghai Tibet Plateau eastwards to the East China Sea in Shanghai. Yangtze Cruises travels between Chongqing and Yichang, Chongqing and Wuhan, and Chongqing and Shanghai, in both directions.

Yichang is a major transportation site that connects the Hubei Province, Chongqing, and the gateway to the Three Gorges and it is the best place to start your Yangtze Cruise . The best times to visit are in the Spring and Fall months because the weather is the most comfortable during these periods. These times are also the peak seasons of Yangtze Cruises and cruise fares are at their highest. You can also visit during the winter months when fares are at their lowest.

Can we pay the shore excursion fee ad hoc?
The cruise fare for deluxe ships includes three shore excursions and the fare is not refundable even if you choose not to participate. When you book a domestic cruise ship, you can pay for a whole ticket to board the ship and individual tickets for whichever site you would like to visit. It is cheaper though to buy a ticket that includes all the attractions with Yangtze Three Gorges.
Is it possible to have a private guide if I book a cruise ship with you?
If you book a cruise as well as local transfers with us, we can provide you with a private guide and car or van service before embarking and after disembarking. During the cruise though, you will need to share buses and guide services on shore excursions. For an extra fee, you can pay for a national guide.
How can I keep in touch with outside events?
All of our cabins are equipped with a television and can access various networks such as CNN, BBC, and HBO. Star-rated ships have available cell phone services at the reception desk. Fees will be charged for using this service. Many ships are also equipped with a fax machine and an internet lounge which are also available for a fee. You can check with the front desk to find out the exact prices.
What types of rooms are offered on Yangtze cruise ships?
Yangtze cruise ships have two types of standard cabins; one with a double bed and one with two single beds. We also offer three types of suites, deluxe, presidential, and Shangri-La, and are available on most ships. Room type with vary according to which ship you will travel on. Cabins for four to six persons are available on the domestic cruise ships.
Can I choose which floor I stay on?
What meals do you serve on the cruise ships? Do you serve vegetarian dishes?
On the deluxe ships, we offer sumptuous Western and Chinese buffets. On other ships, such as Victoria Cruises, we provide Western and Chinese buffets for both breakfast and lunch. Elegant dinners are served family-style on all ships. If you have special dietary requirements, please advise the receptionist or your needs when you check in.
On domestic ships, we only serve Chinese style meals that you can order according to what you prefer.
